Georgetown
Pros
Pros
Summary: Both of these schools are very similar, both in DC, both "fit" my mission, both very expensive to live in. I am interested in both health policy and community service, as I am leaning towards community medicine. I personally would do best in a school with less competition and more collaboration.
Pros
- Higher Ranked
- Well Known School
- No internal ranking
- More focused on Community Service
- Heard that the curriculum is very tough and the class is full of gunners
- Lack of diversity on campus
- Older facilities
Pros
- Lower Cost of Attendance
- Loved my interview with the faculty member
- Has interesting curriculum: emergency med and correctional med offered
- More focused on Health Policy
- Did not get as much interaction with the students, I couldn't tell if the class environment was collaborative.
- Not as well known
