Georgia Pharmacist Wet Lab/practical and MPJE

I graduated from pharmacy school 10 years ago and am reciprocating my license to Georgia. Today is Jan 11, 2016 and I am taking my required wet lab Jan 15, 2016. (Yes Georgia BOP now requires ALL applicants to take the wet lab) When I started searching for what material to study and basically found none, I started getting really freaked out...felt very in the dark. So I'm am going to share what I have found so no-one has to freak out like I did. Fingers crossed that I pass this practical this Friday!

Wet lab:
1) Review exam structure:

disregard page 30 on isotonicity, not likely to be on practical

2)practical skills refresher review course offered by GPhA various locations/ times per year

3) utilize the following website

click around on"prescription drop off area", "prescription filling area", "compounding area", etc etc.
I really really liked the interactive error and omissions at http://pskills.pharm.ku.edu/ios/html5/html5-eorev/index.cfm (click on "click versions)
4) review your top 200 drugs and practice compounding calculations including alligation and aliquots

Georgia MPJE
I studied for no more that 2 weeks and passed
1) I purchased practice Georgia MPJE computer material from: https://www.pharmacyexam.com/index.cfm/category/11/mpjecpje.cfm
2) I purchased practice Georgia MPJE material from Pronto pass at:

3) I also in the end did end up reading all of title 16 and title 26 and 480 at:https://gbp.georgia.gov/laws-policies-rules
it was kinda boring but i got thru it in 2.5 days

Also took the wet lab 8/4. Getting anxious now why it's taking so long. Do i have to wait for the result before I can apply for MPJE?

No you can still apply for the mpje, I actually took (and have passed my mpje). Just waiting for the wet lab. I know that the previous wet lab in June took only 2 wks for the licenses to post. I think its taking longer this time due to the fact that there was a bigger pool of people taking the exam this month. I'm really anxious...b/c I am transferring from another state...and I have job that's waiting for me (I don't know how long my supervisor is willing to wait). :(:(:(

Hopefully they will post latest by Monday. How do y'all feel about the wetlab? Honestly i feel i tanked the E's&O's.. Would pay a hefty sum to get 75..

I'm 50/50 with wet lab, it depends how they are going to grade each part of the label, appearance of product & calculations. I missed somethings here & there. Just worried about one of the calculations. The proctor said if the answer is incorrect, no credit for the calculations :(

Hey, if you don't mind me asking about how did you study for GA wet labs?
I am trying to find study material for wets labs since I am also coming in from another state...

If they do not credit you for the product appearance, label, and procedure, you should be able to argue about it since they have laid out the scoring criteria, and its legally binding..

All I used was the online course work book available on the ga board of pharmacy website (don't over look errors and omissions). This was enough for me.

Were you in the morning section? Maybe they're uploading the licenses by candidate # (I was in the afternoon section). Aren't they supposed to release the licenses/scores all at once? Gosh now I'm really nervous.

I was in the afternoon section and my checklist has been updated. I passed too. Now just have to pass the mpje. good luck to everyone.

Well I'm retaking it. I made a 73 the first time. Last time I just read what they had on the ga bop website. Someone mentioned mpjesuccess.com so I might give them a shot this time.

I just checked mine, i passed too :). I am yet to write the naplex and mpje. Has anyone taken those recently?

What materials did you guys use to study for the wet lab? Any practice questions or reviews available?

I need to send in the application and supplemental application before I can register for the MPJE and wet lab correct? The timeline is a bit confusing, I don't want to be out $500 for nothing! And do we only have 30 days after sending that in?
