    Hi
I am thinking of shadowing a dentist this summer, which I felt would be the best way to show that you're interested in the field. My question is, do you get paid to shadow a dentist? or anyone had gotten a summer job in the dental office? <img border="0" alt="[Pity]" title="" src="graemlins/pity.gif" />

    Chucky,

I doubt that any dentist will pay you to shadow them! You are able, however, to apply for a job in a dental office, but then again, most of those positions (Front office, dental assistant, lab technician, etc.) will need you to have working experience to apply. Unless, you have relatives or friends that are current dentists, then you'll get the best of both worlds (shadow and get paid)!
