Getting Certified by Insurance Once You're an Entry Level PT

I am taking the DPT licensing exam on October 30th. One thing I am fairly worried about once I potentially pass the test is getting certified by certain insurances once I am an entry level PT. I got in trouble in undergraduate school and have a misdemeanor on my record. If someone at an insurance company were to see that, could I be denied seeing patients from that insurance company (e.g. Medicare)?
