I'm getting ready for Step 3 and have been doing research on what are the best resources to use. I'd like peoples opinions on what's best / how useful?

usmlesteps123
Shaher's CCS Simulations
usmleworld
passfirst
USMLE Computer-based Testing (CBT) Practice Session
Comprehensive Clinical Medicine Self-Assessment (CCMSA)

I'm reading wildly different opinions of these on various forums. Any help would be appreciated.

I used NMS , Strong Medicine and First Aid first time around and failed with a 72 / 177. The actual exam was way harder than any of the practice material I used in these books. The long questions really caused me problems

My week areas were:
  1. "Clinical Encounters": Initial Work-ups
  2. "Physician Tasks": Health Maintenance/Systems/Legal & Ethical
  3. "Physician Tasks": Clinical Intervention
  4. "Clinical Settings": Office / Health Center
  5. "Problem/Disease Categories": Musculoskeletal/Skin/Connective
  6. "Problem/Disease Categories": Reproductive/Urinary
  7. "Patient Age": 6 - 17
How do I interpret these result in order to focus my studying? Is there a way I can specifically focus on these?

Thanks.

use premier review, its a new course in NY. Sorry that you failed, but the key is to hone in on what is important and whats not. USMLE Step 2 ck notes from kaplan are okish, but premier review notes are the best. your sources are otherwise ok. Good luck next time around.

Hey I have the video lectures and notes, PM me if interested.
