I am cleaning out my place and am wondering if it is better to throw away my old Ochem and Gchem books or if I should pack them up and keep them.
It's easier not to bring them, but I just feel bad throwing away a book. Will I ever need to refer to these books in dental school?

First Beagle, you're right snoopie is real.

second, i feel you're pain when you throw out a book, esp if it could be used by someone else. My advice, donate it to a library or even goodwill/salvationary. Or just put up a sign at ur school and say free text books. Someone will take em.

I dont believe we;re gonna any of those things in dent school, but worse case scenario you can always reference them at your dent-school library. Why lug them around unneccessarily. besides, we'll have more than our share of books, and will need all the shelf space we can get.

All the best.

Charlie Brown.

Another snoopy fan 😍 😍 😍 😍

I think I may just donate my books as you suggested.
Thanks for your input Charlie Brown

You won't ever refer to these books in dental school, but that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with keeping them.

I've kept all of my science books in my personal library, and I often find time to read a random chapter here or there about biology or chemistry. I actually find it fairly relaxing to review subjects that I already have a good mastery of.

LOL... Reminds me of a few friends from college... One was a physics major and he had a copy of Philosophae Naturalis Principia Mathematica on the back of his toilet in his dorm room.

😀

UBTom,

doesnt it make you feel good to know that there are people out there more eccentric than you (or me)?!🙂 Although im sure he had quite a few people trying to read it while attempting to do their business........most likely the were unsucessful. Poor guy must have had a mess in there..........

Thanks for the laugh though!!

My former boss, a Harvard grad MD, has a bible in his bathroom.
   Whatever he reads that morning, he would come in and tell us the bible story of the day. LOL
