MD Gift for graduating 4th yr going into FM sub-OG/GYN

I have a friend that mentored me for the past 3 yrs and now that I made it and will be going to med school upcoming fall, I really want to gift her something useful for residency.

Most of the posts relating to this are quite a few yrs old.

I was thinking about buying her a nice zip up vest from the hospital she’d be working at. But I wanted to gift something in addition to that, what would be nice to get as a graduating 4th yr? Maybe those fancy fitting scrubs or is that looked down upon? Idk haha

A check for $200,000. But if I had to contribute something for real about this, I'd say a gift basket of food she can carry around in her white coat/scrubs. Protein bars, KIND bars, etc. Because she will have times where she will forget to eat for almost 24 hours. They make a big difference.

Nah. Most hospitals will provide scrubs, so at most places fancy scrubs are a nursing thing.

I like the jacket or vest idea. In addition, a nice water bottle?
