Give Up On Usc This Cycle????

Hey guys, USC is my number one choice... I recently got accepted to Nova but I would hands down trade that spot for someone at USC no questions asked..I interviewed on FEb 15 and been waiting checking my email 3-4 times a day hoping for that email. I know we got till August 25 when classes start but anyone know from past that there will be movement later on... I think 4 people from this site got in last week so that is kinda promising... any advice thank you.!!!

Isn't that enough?

Nova may require you to move and depending on your situation that may or may not be realistically possible.

However, don't overlook the fact that you were able to do what many could not.

Defintely take the acceptance and run with it. You never know, it might be even harder to get in next cycle.

I got accepted at USC last week but I declined the spot... Don't know if that helps?! At least your into Nova!!

Take the acceptance and run with it... I'm still waiting on USC, and its a painful waiting process, as they don't disclose waiting list positions. I would hate to wait until August 25th, but if it will get me in, then so be it. Good luck to everyone!

Why apply to someplace that you won't attend? Take the spot at Nova or get ready to reapply. You could of course call USC and see how likely it is for you to get off the wait list. At best, plan to attend Nova and make arrangements to do so. Decide on a last date after which you will not be able to attend USC and treat Nova as a soft acceptance up to that point. Nova also has an alternate list so as long as you aren't ruining Nova for someone else, you'll be OK.

Just go to Nova and save 100K. Why are you so eager to go to USC when it is so much more expensive?
