I spend $140 applying to your school and you choose to reject me (for whatever reason) and you can't even sign my rejection letter?
For shame.
For shame.
getunconcsious said:LOL! You should burn their letter. I'm saving up my rejections for a big ass bonfire (after, of course, i finally get excepted somewhere). But, for what it's worth, I think most of us who did get a Case interview were put "On Hold" which means that we'll just get our rejections later than you. Best of luck to you, I hope you get better news from somewhere else 🙂

Not to intentionally break up the hostility, but where does the 140 come in, 85 + 30 + ???sarahbeth607 said:I completely agree with you. Not only did I spend a $140 dollars applying to that damn school, but I spent more freaking money on a hotel room in Cleveland and gas money to get to my interview. The morning of the interview, I blew out a tire because of the crater-filled roads in Cleveland and I had to throw down another $300 dollars to get my car repaired. I pushed on through this car trouble and despite the fact that I was really sick, and finally made it to my interview, only to be met by a weird guy who heckled me the whole time and made it clear that I was inadequate and that he didn't want me going there.
Yeah, F*** you Case Western.

I'm gonna vent on another school too: Jefferson. Every other rejection I received was Dear Mr. King: ; Jefferson worded it: Dear Lion...... Really Dean Callahan? Since I didn't even interview there, i didn't know we were on a first name basis!
Did these guys even know how to write a business letter?
gbiz said:ohh exciting thread. i just got an invite to interview there, which of course was not sealed either.

Hermit MMood said:eh how's Case's campus? i've heard there's a lot of high crime around that area.

The area around Case isn't nearly that bad, and while the Cleveland Clinic's neighborhood is sketchier, neither hold a candle to what Hopkins is reputed to be, though I have no first hand experience. Honestly, I felt comfortable walking around the Case area alone (and lost), but I probably wouldn't want to do that at night.skoaner said:Yeah, high crime arond Case. CCLCM is even worse!A recent NYT article described it as located in a "dismal area of Cleveland" Sounds like hopkins!
is CCLCM in that really bad of a neighborhood? i mean yeah it wasnt pretty but i didnt think it was dangerous? i even took the bus from the RTA to cleveland clinic....i thought it was ok. not dangerous. different POV i guess in regards to what is "safe"skoaner said:Yeah, high crime arond Case.
