Hi,

I'll be attending USC in the summer and would like the advice of people who are on the HPSP Scholarship while attending USC.

Will the $2,000 stipend be enough each month for rent and living expenses, or should I expect to take out a loan too.

Thanks

1. wrong forum, try dent if you want people currently in the program.
2. lol if you cant live off of $2k per month.

Depends if you wanna hang out in LA with a hot chick or an ugly chick.

If HPSP covers ALL of your school expenses, then yes! Fortunately the dschool is located on the main campus so there are a lot of student housing options unlike the health sciences campus. However, the school isn't in the best neighborhood. I paid ~$990 for a 1 bedroom (including utilities) in a 5 bdrm apt built within the past 7ish years. So as long as you don't live in a ridiculous place then I think you can survive on 2k/mo. If you decide to live near the school then you have to keep in mind that you will be competing with the undergrads. good luck!
