on page 125,under the column of nuclear feature ,its written like this
benign tumors
a. Nuclear/cytoplasmic ratio is dose to normal.
b. Mitoses have normal mitotic spindles.
c. Nuclear/cytoplasmic ratio is increased, and tmcleoli arc prominent.
d. Mitoses have normal and atypical mitotic spindles.
i guess its typo he has forgotten to put c. and d. under malignant tumors(though in margin notes its written correct),just wanted to let it know to someone reading it first time,
another point on page 105,
where he states that breast adenocarcinoma risk increased with ocp use....but usmle world for step 2 clearly says --ocp doesnt change the risk of adenocarcinoma of breast
3rd thing ,goljan and FA and almost all other book says mcc of osteomyelitis in sickle cell is salmonella but conrad fischer says its not salmonella but still staph.aureus(though salmonella is very often involved) if u see infectious disease video BY CONRAD FISCHER u will come to know ,he actually ask this qs and says i knwo u will say the answer is salmonella but it is not,its pretty confusing though metanalysis study shows its salomonella also some standard internal med text books also says, even i came across a qs in kaplan qbank step2 and uworld step2 they also say taht though salmonella is frewuent cause of osteomyelitis in sicklers but nonetheless staph is still mc organism
