Goljan High yield 100/36

I have the 2002 edition of the goljan HY 100pg/36pg. Is there a newer edition out there? How helpful are these notes.
I'm thinking about going through them for the Basic Science exam i have next week.

Agreed. I have those pdf's too and I tried to look at them. I almost It's just a bunch of "high yield" factoids in a non eye-friendly format. I prefer the book a million times.

without the book, those 100/36 things are a waste of time. you need to BUY the book in order for those "high yield" factoids to make sense.....that's just my .02 cents

Get the book. It's well worth it.

It still goes really well with the lectures.

There are copies of it going around. I wouldnt worry to much about getting sued when I took step 1 2 years ago these types of threads went around like crazy. No one really cares, except for Mr. Bagel. Regardless, I wouldnt use any of Goljans materials. It kind of gives you a false hope. Just study the material hard in Books like Brs path, maybe some of the kaplan books and read FA and qbank twice through.
I know tons of people who put there hopes into focusing on Goljan and it turned out to be a disaster.

If you still want to do Goljan I would read the RR once and put it on the shelf.

hmmm, I feel kinda of discouraged after reading the bold parts. My pathology course was HORRIBLE in my school and so my pathology foundation is close to zero. That's why I was gonna heavily rely on Goljan for path since 98% of people say he's the best for path.

What was your score on your Step 1, if you don't mind my asking?

For the record, I think if you are going to use pirated versions of ANYTHING Goljan you should at the very least buy RR. Goljan is the best professor I never had. He taught me so much more than my actual Path course did. If you are benefitting from his work, he deserves compensation!
