I've gone through the audio once (a while ago) and I felt it was good early on to get things rolling, but it takes time if youre tyring to actively learn from it. The audio transcript was actually good at clearing some stuff up and may be faster.
I didn't use Goljan RR for my actual prep, since I'm using Pathoma.
However, I've been going through the margin notes + blue boxes at the end of the day before I pass out.
I found that I can actually go through these fairly quickly, and then anytime I don't understand the concept behind it, I just quickly read through that particular topic right next to it in the black text.
I found this to be useful and not mind-numbing since you keep moving along quickly. Every time I don't recognize something in the blue margin notes - I tend to have an "Aha!" moment cause its a concept I missed before, and I can read the concept behind it as well on the spot without referencing other stuff. This way you're hitting high-yield patho-phys points (keeping it relevant for Step 1) and you're also learning the concept behind the high-yield, without killing too much time.
