This conversation always turns into an ugly, ugly flame war. I will say that I was accepted to both and opted to attend OU, which is how it normally goes. Primary care rankings don't really pull a lot of weight, so I wouldn't make school decisions based on them. Interview at both and pick which school you're happier at. For me, the advantages of OU were the larger class size, the module system, the quality of clinical rotations, and the lack of emphasis on rural primary care which I have zero interest in. It's a pretty individual decision.
Oklahoma is a pretty accepting state for DOs. The only negative thing is the stupid traditional rotating internship requirement, which is supposedly easy to get around, but it still seems like a hassle.
One thing I will caution you to do is to not listen to the smack (and yeah, it's smack) OSU students will tell you about OU on your interview day. On my interview day, we had all these students tell us that OU has an abysmal USMLE pass rate based on absolutely nothing aside from the fact that they knew somebody who knew somebody who failed.
Oh yeah, editing to add that the rankings on this site are entirely unscientific. We gripe about USNews rankings, but they have a lot more validity than SDN rankings. They are based solely on applicants' interview feedback. Interview for yourself and see how you feel.
