This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
try www2.merriam-webster.com it`s very good but no pictures though

Go to http://onelook.com/ !!!!

simply da best!!! it POOLS THE RESOURCES of 50+ different dictionaries (many mentioned above by other posters), and for med terms: usually 6+ different reputable medical on-line dictionaries. i used this throughout 1st, 2nd and 3rd year to great effect.

as an example: go to onelook.com, type in the word "bursa" you'll see that it includes the results from stedmans, dorlands, medterms, medfacts, and much more!!! click on each link to see each respective definition.
happy hunting!

p.s.
looking for images?
simple: go to the "images" search from google, and you'll usually find lots of goodies for any presentation you may doing (go to google.com then click on the images search link, then type in your query, finally book mark it for instant accessn next time).
for example: type in "squamous cell carcinoma" in google IMAGES and see the results.
