Please correct me if I'm wrong - I think you're asking about three options:
- Move for Spring 2012 semester to take classes towards a bacchelors degree. If accepted to pharmacy school, go to pharmacy school in Fall 2012.
- Move for Spring 2012 semester to take classes towards a bacchelors degree. If not accepted to pharmacy school, continue for bacchelors for Fall 2012 & Spring 2013. Presumably, reapply to pharm school for Fall 2013 matriculation. Will this option allow you to finish your bacchelors degree before Fall 2013?
- Do not move for Spring 2012. If accepted, go to pharm school Fall 2012. If not accepted...? Work on bacchelors in Fall 2012 & Spring 2013?
My major question is - what are you going to do if you DON'T move?
Could that time be spent valuably? Would finding work as a pharm tech & volunteering strengthen your future 2013 application more than taking an extra semester of upper level classes? (Really, the difference we're talking about is whether, if you don't get into pharm school, you will take classes at Uni in Spring 2012 or not - you will still go to Uni for Fall 2012/Spring 2013 if you aren't at pharm school, right?) What options would working as a pharm tech open to you that you don't have now? Have you taken student loans that require you to stay a student until you graduate from pharmacy school (such that you can't take a semester unenrolled without having to begin payback)?
Also, will it break the bank to move for Spring 2012? Will the stress of moving be offset by the contingency plan it opens up (work towards bacchelors)? Would you be more stressed out if you didn't work towards your bacchelors?
Are there any local options that would allow you to stay where you are & work on your bacchelors for a semester? If you don't get into pharm school, you can always move for Fall 2012/Spring 2013.
These are the sorts of questions that immediately spring to my mind when considering a decision like this. I hope it's helpful.
