I like Squire's, too. In fact, it is required for our rads rotation. But I also found the "Requisites" series to be very good, especially if you are interested in something in particular (i.e., neurorads or IVR). Plus they are only $99 for a very nice, complete, hardcover book. I have the neurorads requisites book from Amazon, and I'm very happy with it. But in terms of general radiology, I found the "Primer of Diagnostic Imaging" (the Purple Book) to be very instructive and straightforward.

the brant covers (almost) all aspects of radiology. most chapters are easy to read. overall probably a little heavy for a MS3/4 unless you are REALLY interested in radiology and want to get a little head start before your residency.
problem with the brant is that you cannot just carry it around with you bc it weighs like 10 pounds. so i ended up copying the whole book chapter by chapter to be able to read at other places ...
third edition should be coming out in mid 2006
