Good range for LizzyM school list?

I looked throughout the forums for a definitive answer on this, but didn't see one. When you get your score it automatically is set to give you a school list within 10% of your LizzyM score, and I just wanted to know if that is considered "not to high" and "not to low"? For example if I looked at schools within 20% of my range, would that be too far of a jump (e.g. falling into academic cutoffs or implying the school is just a safety)?

Just wanted to see if there was a general range that seemed reasonable so I can add a few extra reach schools without getting absurd.

I suggest that if your stats are > 10th %ile of schools, then go for them. If you give us your stats, and state of residence, we can be more specific.

Hi. Thanks for the help. In my head I automatically weed myself out if I'm below the 25th percentile. Also, what if I am at the 10th percentile for both GPAs & MCAT score? Is it still worth applying?

• BS in Bio (chem minor) & MS in Biomed
• URM from Midwest
• 280+ hrs non-clinical volunteering from undergrad,
• 50+ hrs from post-grad
• 250+ hrs clinical volunteering
• 25+ shadowing hours
