Hey all,

I will be starting CCOM in the fall. I have been reading posts here that mention the valuable Review books that some students used during med school. I am interested in knowing what are the good books (BRS, Kaplan, etc) to have for classses ie anat, histo, bio, etc.

Curious what u current students use, if any, for your classses.

Thanks so much!

BRS Biochem, BRS Histo/Cell Bio, BRS/Hi Yield Embryo, BRS Anatomy, BRS/NMS Physiology, BRS Pathology, BRS Neuroscience... I can't think of any more right now. Oh, yeah - Lange Microbiology and Immunology. This is a really great book for immunology. You'll probably end up using Micro made Ridiculously simple - it was our required text, but the Lange book is very good for that as well if you don't like the goofy "made ridiculously simple" layout.

looks like lots of BRS, doesn't it. I really didn't read the texts much at all. I used the review books and the class notes - and lots of discussion with my study partner.

best of luck and congrats.
