- Pre-Podiatry
Hi everyone!
My name is Michele, and I'm a junior at Rutgers (go knights!). I just finished shadowing a local podiatrist and can't wait to get into podiatry school. I'm finishing off my pre-reqs this summer (2009), however I didn't plan on taking the MCATs until October or November and then applying afterwards (I'm taking Organic Chem. this summer and figured I need it to score well on the MCATs). Is this a bad decision? Should I just apply in September without MCAT scores (cGPA-3.4 sGPA-3.3), or should I attempt to take a Kaplan class and take the MCATs in May sometime?
Also, I was thinking about getting a reflexology certification- perhaps it would give me a alternative perception about foot-care. The class is expensive; do you guys think its a good pre-pod investment?
Thank you so much and good luck to you all!
