Post you score report and breakdown and say something more than this in order for people to really believe you. If so, congrats on a great accomplishment.

That means you got a 100%. 99 = 100%. No offense, but this post kind of made me laugh, considering you are implying that everyone that did not score a 99 is not "conceptually sound", while you are using improper spelling techniques and not capitalizing your "I" and leaving out the word "you" from your sentence.

Thank you for NOT sharing your study methods to some people that apparently are "not conceptually sound". Congrats! However there is a reason the boards are going pass/fail, which you have made obvious.

Ouch.

i knw i have got 99. i dont feel that i should make u to believe my score. as far as books for NBDE r concerned not any single book help u to achieve good score. those people who do not want to work hard are always in search of shortcuts. don't waste ur time.

for example, which GLUT tansporter is responsible for insulin shock when taking insulin without meal? 90% people come to know that GLUT 4 is responsible from ASDA answers but only 10% students know why? those 10% will be able to get above 95. i m talking abt these concepts.

I think dentp is right. He/she is trying to tell everyone to understand the concepts rather than just cramming decks or 1st aid and for that one, has to use multiple sources...once one works hard enough to understand the concepts than exam is easy. When he says exam is easy he doesn't mean don't work hard or he didn't work hard, all he is trying to convey is once u grasp the subjects the questions r not that twisted but rather from basic concepts. I think we shld get his msg rather than assumptions.

I think people are having trouble believing that the person who got 99 actually got it, when he or she actually seems to have quite a bit of trouble even writing coherent sentences in English. Spellcheck anyone???

But guys, this should be a place where we support and help each other by giving honest feedback and information. Honestly, if you just need attention or false praise, go get a life. If you are here to help, then do so in a good way.

Congratulations! I am happy that you know you have received a 99/99 and are in the 10% of the NBDE part I examination population that received a score above a 95. Perhaps you deserve a gold star as well?

I do not think people are looking for "shortcuts" to avoid "working hard". I think people are searching for helpful suggestions from people who have been successful in this particular standardized test to aid them as to which resources to use. So maybe it is a good idea not to make generalizing statements about the intentions of others. Some people actually struggle just passing, as others struggle forming complete sentences.

And in regards to your comment about about GLUT-4, there really isn't some mythical difficult concept behind a GLUT-4 transporter other than it being an insulin-regulated glucose transporter for translocation into a cell on skeletal, cardiac and adipose tissues. So again please don't generalize people as being "lazy" or "only looking at old ASDA exams" because that is not the case.

How much would you focus on below the chest for anatomy?

Did you feel that the decks were sufficient for dental anatomy/occlusion?
