hello guys, I just got into one of the pharmacy school lately and I still got few more interview to go. I will make my final decision which school I should go after I received the result from all of them.

But right now, I having a problem, my A&P II class is not going so well, I barely got a C in A&P I and this A&P II just a complete a train wreck (b/c i had miss the classes to all the pharm school open house, interview, ect).... I having a boarder line C and might ended up with a D.......

However, majority of the schools I applied to, they DO NOT require A&P II. and right now I am finishing up economics and statistics class, and they are going pretty smooth.

My question is: do school gonna withdraw my acceptance if they see a D in A&P II class? or they dont care as long as I aced the economics and statistics?

Thank you so much!

It depends on the school. They should have something either in your acceptance letter, or on their website or something, which would outline their specific policy on post-acceptance grades. UAMS, for example, withholds the right to rescind my offer if I were to get any Ds or Fs, withdraw from a class, etc. So you'd just need to check with them directly.

I understand that feel, though. It's always scariest to worry about dropping your basket of eggs when you're almost home...

If it's not a required class, you should be fine. I know that at my school though (with the case being similar at most schools, from what I've heard) acceptance is conditional pending spring grades. They give the sort of vague statement that they expect your spring grades to be similar to past grades and they have the right to revoke your acceptance if that's not the case.

As usual, the best course of action for you is to contact someone at your future pharmacy school (when you decide) and explain the situation. They should be able to explain whether it's going to be a problem or not.

Thanks for reply yall!

this is what they said one the acceptance letter:

"You must complete all mandatory pre-requisite coursework with a C or higher and submit all required application requirements, as well as all forms that are listed in this letter in order to matriculate into the Class of 2015. Failure to do so will result in a withdrawal of your acceptance.

Your pending coursework is listed below:
Economics
Statistics

You must continue to maintain a high level of academic accomplishment, and your personal and professional life must reflect the highest standards of moral integrity and professional dedication. Should you, for whatever reason, fail to maintain high standards in all areas, your acceptance will be withdrawn. During the orientation session prior to the beginning of class, you will receive a copy of the Student Handbook for the School of Pharmacy which contains the academic and professional standards required for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program."

While it does sound like they could technically withdraw your acceptance if you get a D, it doesn't seem terribly likely that they would based on that, especially if you're doing well in your other courses. Work your ass off to keep that C though so you don't need to worry about it.

contact school. best way possible... My friend wasn't even going to graduate undergrad after he got into his top choice, but he LUCKILY found that they expected him to get his bachelors degree. He called the school right away and because he stated that he was graduating that spring, they expected him to and if he didn't there would be another review of his application.

Yeah, see, leaving that kind of thing to chance is just begging to be screwed over! Your friend did get lucky but I always encourage people to discuss this kind of stuff with their admissions counselor @ each pharmacy school.

"is it OK if I don't graduate to get my 4 year degree since you guys accepted me?" That should be a really easy question to answer for them!

Not even sure why you wouldn't want to finish up if you are so close. Worth it in so many ways.
