hi guys
got my results yesterday
i got a 90

my result came in less than 10 business days .
the exam was not so easy and not so tough...but u have to study everything and i think the key is to memorize what u read ...
i studied for 5 months 5 days a week but last 2 month i started to study really really hard ...did first aid book, the decks 4 times, released.exams twice ,crack NBDE 3 exams.

i am a foreign trained dentist so i know how hard it is to begin ur life in a new country,at the same time concentrate in your study ..but what i am sure about now ..have faith in god that he planned for u to be in the usa and he will handle the plan for ur life ,,just work hard ,,do not worry and god will see ur effort and he will never forget u

and having someone to support u is the best ..i had my husband who was really caring and supporting .

finally try to get the best of this forum it helped me alot but do not waste too much time ..for me it was a little addictive 🙂

that is a great score...when did u write ur exam?b/c i took it on 26th april,so i should be expecting it too..u studied really hard and that paid off..🙂
to tell u the truth i didn't work that hard,but do pray for me..🙂

Hey guys and gals, does anyone know how they (admitting comittees) are going to compare "old" format scores vs. "new" format scores? I think it sucks to have a score of 89 post Jan 1 07 and they dont recognize that it would probably be a 92 or so if same number of right answers were obtained pre Jan 1 07.
Also is it true that class of 2010 and beyond will have a pass/ fail score for NBDEs?

No, those taking the exam after Jan 1st 2010 will take a pass/fail exam. That translates into class of 2012 for most schools and class of 2013 for those schools that take the exam after 1st year.

And, I don't think admitting committees really distinguish between "old" and "new" scores. It IS a standardized exam, so it shouldn't matter.

i would say go over the decks real quick and if u have any notes u have done for ur self ..like for biochemistry ...microorganisms.....syndromes ..

its not necessary to take toefel before part 1,,but u require toefel scores as well as part 1 for colge admissions..

Is Crack the NBDE really necessary? $100 really worth it? I'm not worried about spending $$ on the prep. If extra 100 bucks can buy me points on the test, then definitely I'll go for it. But it's just so much stress already, studying for classes, clinics, and NDBE on top. I heard lots people said it's way too hard, and their scores were discouraging. Just wonder, can't decide if I'm buying it. Maybe until a couple wks before my test~

no partial retakes for the new pattern..make a solid study plan and repeat the test..u hav time to apply for this cycle..all the best..joina study course like kaplan and practice some mock tests...it vl help...
