it varies dependin on the school you're applyin for, but it's mostly around 3.2 for GPA and 25 for MCAT. Of course, correct me if i'm wrong.

I don't know if anyone else has seen it, but I had a medical school admissions book released by Pfizer for 2003 or 2004. It discussed both MD and DO schools, and it stated average GPA and MCAT for each type as well as statistics for each school. From what I remember, the average MCAT for MD was 29.X while the average MCAT for DO was 25.X. Even more interesting, the average cumulative GPA listed for DO schools was 3.49, while the listed GPA for MD schools was 3.48. The science GPA was slightly higher for MD schools, maybe .2 or .3. Obviously, these reported averages seem to vary depending on the source, but the average cumulative GPAs were surprising nonetheless.

I suppose this doesn't really help you too much Miss, but this topic reminded me of the book. There is variation of course, but solid academic numbers would seem to be 3.4+ and 24+ for most DO schools.
