GPA calc time

Hi everyone

I have just completed my application and the AACPMAS has my MCAT and transcripts.

However, the GPA calculation has remained "not available" for a week now.

Do I have to wait for it to be calculated before I can submit my application?

I am quite anxious to do so because I feel it is so late in the cycle already 🙁

Have you submitted your app? It won't calculate your gpa until you submit it. Since they already have your transcripts your gpa will be calculated fairly quickly, like a day. That's how long it took for me anyway, and I sent my transcripts a month before I submitted.

Have not pressed E-submit yet. I thought I had to wait until I had all the "Status" categories complete as well before I submitted it!

If AACPMAS has your all your MCAT scores and transcripts (meaning they all show up in their respective status categories), and you added everything you want to add to you app, then e-submit and pay them. Once once you e-submit, AACPMAS will then calculate you GPA, and verify your app. Like I said before and based on my experience this past Fall, this process shouldn't take long (1 day) for your GPA to be calculated and to be verified. Your app will then be mailed to the schools you designated. Good luck!

it took aacmpas 2 days to verify my gpa and mcat scores.
