GPA Calculation For a Transfer Student

So I transferred after my freshman year, and I got pass/fail credit for some of the classes I took at my old school. If I submit my transcript from my old school to the ADSA or w/e will they include my first year in my GPA even though my new school doesn't? What about summer school at an accredited university - does that get factored in? Thanks!

Helpful, but the school I transferred from was on a trimester system. It says that a quarter hour is 2/3's a semester hour. So what does that make a trimester hour? For what it's worth I got semester credit for some of my trimester classes when I transferred.
