I started my freshman year a semester late and my college career "officially" started in spring. Do I only calculate my freshman year gpa using the first four classes I took?

It gets more confusing -- I also took some summer classes after my "first" semester -- does that go under my freshman year gpa or sophomore gpa.

Thank you so much!

There is chart and long set of rules/guidelines that you can use to determine
1) I would calculate using credits. I would suggest taking those first 4 classes and all of SO and make it freshman year
2) Summer begins school year for AMCAS

Thank you! That's what I thought but if I combine all of them I end up having 44 credits, exceeding 36 credit hours. Should I just take 2 courses out and put those into my "sophomore" year gpa?
