a seemingly stupid question, but i'm a Canadian and come from a school that uses the Canadian percentage system, so how are the GPA's calculated for post-bac programs? are they same as AMCAS GPA's?

This is the official aamc policy regarding grade conversions for amcas.

http://www.aamc.org/students/amcas/conversionguide.pdf

Scroll down to the fourth page, and the Canadian conversion system is the last one listed.

PS you can apparently get as low as 75 and still get an A-, which is 3.7 quality points!!! wtf???

so is this what the post-bac schools will use to convert my GPA?

I was just wondering whether they have their "own little" calculations.

I'm looking at that table right now, and I'm confused about the different rows... what does aa, bb, cc, etc. stand for? How do I know which row to use?
