has anyone gotten into a school such as UTHSCSA that requires a GPA 3.2+ with a GPA just under that?? My GPA is 3.1 but my pre req is 3.5. I don't want to waste my time but a student who was on his clinical at TWU told me of a girl in his class who got in with a 2.78 GPA.

I don’t know about that specific programs but I have talked to program directors who touched upon the issue. If you really stand out in other ways (non-academic,) it does seem that they’re willing to have a little bit of leniency.
