Overall GPA vs Cumlative GPA

Hi everyone!

I see some schools requiring a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and other schools requiring overall GPA. Are these schools usually referring to the undergrad GPA or every class taken prior to applying? Including science courses taken after graduating undergrad.

Usually it’s overall, including classes taken after undergrad. Also, most programs have both a cumulative and prereq GPA requirement!

Some schools say overall GPA and some say Overall Undergrad GPA, so I'm confused what the latter means.
