I have 3.8 gpa overall and 3.8 science ,what are my chances of getting into use or westernU assuming I did decent on the DAT

Depends on what your definition of decent is. But with your GPA, you should be ok, assuming your ECs are good too

They are both private, doesn't matter actually. (There stats seems like it there are just so many people from California applying because there are so many people)

Also for western and USC your GPA is well above average. In all actuality you don't need to kill the DAT to get in. It couldn't hurt but they have lower stats on average.
