GPA Questions????

Hi Guys, I am asking this question for a friend. What is more important for adcoms; the overall gpa or the science gpa? What is the average overall gpa and science gpa to get into an average or any med school? What is a good way to higher your gpa? Is it good to retake some classes where he got a C, D? and he couldve done much better? or whats a better way? Any one?

it depends on the school.
(which is the answer to practically any question)

i know for Baylor, for example, they look at OVERALL GPA, only.
but i think a lot of schools do look at the science GPA separately. which is usually more important than overall GPA or just a humanities GPA.
