Attached is a copy of a GPA spreadsheet that I put together for personal use....but I'm sharing for anyone that may benefit. I've added a few example entries so you can see how it works. It's not perfect, but it has tabs for MD, DO, & Texas entries (cumulative & sci).

To use, just enter your coursework into the MD cum tab, and then copy/paste each entry into the other tabs, as applicable. Be aware that Texas doesn't use +/- values......so, for example, you'll need to enter a B+ as 3.0 grade points.

Thanks for taking your time to help out fellow applicants.

Attached is also an AMCAS gpa calculator that was made by another sdner, though I don't know his/her username

Question: If you entered a retaken course for the one where you had an F, and got an A the second time, would the DO calculator only include the A (and ignore the F) as AACOMAS would with its grade forgiveness policy?

Thanks a lot! Now I can input my grades as I go along in the process. But I have one question, do I input any W grades?

Version 2.0 will, I didn't think about automating that b4 - thanks. For now, just switch the # of units to zero for the previous attempt(s) so they don't contribute to the calculation.

This one is pretty epic, for those that need that level of analysis. Some one obviously invested a lot of time in creating it! Thanks for sharing it, too.

Personally, I like to see my complete academic history, inc. any Ws. You can easily enter the course, course grade (W), and just zero out the # of units and grade points if you want to do the same.

Is it possible to set it so that entering course info into the MD portion will automatically import it into the others, so you don't have to copy and paste?

I really like that it has all three systems in a single Calculator.

Hi Cat, good idea. I can add a formula that'll do this pretty easily. I'll repost when I have time, maybe this weekend.
