lol Yes I did. I helped with advertising for the club and tournaments, so I thought that was a good attribute. Also, I've been in the club since freshman year, so I clocked in over 100 hours and showed my dedication and passion for something. I'm actually an ITG player, which is a harder and better version of DDR. ;)

Hm, so something that pertains to the field of physical therapy is the most ridiculous and silly thing ever?

See #22: http://ssigaaompt.blogspot.com/

It might help you to get more information before judging something that can help a patient.

I think he was joking and not being serious. New generation of video games is impacting PT dramatically. These new consoles and games are putting the fun back into it, and also improving patient's overall mental and emotional state of mind. Many programs are testing and trying to incorporate video games into their programs and clinics.

I see. I'll try to take it lightly then. :) That is very true. I really like how the Wii is being used to at least get people active while they play videogames.

I was only kidding. You need to take it down a notch also before you inaccurately report people to the Mod for such ridiculous things. ----- Considering I started this thread, I am not attacking you.

where did you get a job as a PT Aide? I can't find one anywhere!

May help to contact a local clinic and ask to volunteer. Thats what I did and less than 3 months later I had a job offer as an Aide. This is, of course, assuming no clinics are actually hiring an Aide/Tech position already.

This is great advice. I started volunteering at a clinic last summer, and within 5 minutes of getting there on the first day they asked why I chose to volunteer instead of just apply for an aide position, since they are always hiring part time aides. I would have taken that if I didn't already work FT. I would say your chances are even better if you have a "network" of clinics nearby that you can apply to because they have a bigger pool of positions.

We're totally off thread-topic though, so if you want more advice, start a thread and I'm sure everyone will be happy to help.
