I just did as well, congrats! I know Burlington and the surrounding area well, but still have some unanswered questions about the UVM DPT program. If there is anyone in the program you know that would be willing to chat about it, definitely be in touch! Would be amazing to ask current students some questions.I just received an acceptance from UVM about an hour ago.
Yay congrats! I can ask around and see if I can put you in contact with someone! I'm also hoping UVM does an open house/info session sometime soon.I just did as well, congrats! Thank you! Honestly, I have a hard time choosing. I am between UM and UF. I have talked to UM students and have heard nothing but good news about the program. I loved their interview process and also work for a UM professor at an outpatient clinic so I know what to expect. Having been raised in Miami, I wouldn't have to worry about rent costs as I can live with my parents so it offsets the higher tuition UM has as opposed to UF where I have to factor in rent expenses in addition to tuition. I do not know much about UF's program other than UF is a big research school since they did not hold any interviews or a tour so I am hoping to go to their open house to learn more about their program. It really is dependent if I want to stay or leave my hometown. Do you know what programs interest you the most?Congrats on your acceptances! I applied to the same schools as you plus some others. Do you know where you’ll be attending yet?
Dope! I believe I just replied to your post about UF in the Florida thread lmao. Since you could live at home if you went to UM and could offset the higher tuition with minimal cost of living loans then honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with either of those. Good luck with your decision!Thank you! Honestly, I have a hard time choosing. I am between UM and UF. I have talked to UM students and have heard nothing but good news about the program. Haha I just replied to you in the other post just now! I did interview at UCF and I think they got a solid program as it is a smaller cohort and they seemed to also place a high emphasis on research. I just did not feel like it was the best fit for me personally as I was not a big fan of their interview process. The program at UM also starts in May while UF would start in August so I also have to factor in if I want to start as soon as possible. Either way, I think you will do great in either program. Let me know if you get into UF and what you decide to go to! Who knows we might even be classmates together.Dope! I believe I just replied to your post about UF in the Florida thread lmao. I applied to a ton of schools but my top choices going into this were UF, UNF, UCF, USF, FIU, and FGCU. I figured I’d make a decision based on where I got accepted, where I enjoyed the interviews most, and tuition. I’ve been accepted to USF, FIU, and FGCU, and I’m on the tier 1 waitlist at UCF. And UNF told me that one of my psych courses doesn’t count for them so I assume I’ll be rejected there, so I’m just waiting to hear from UF and see whether I’ll be pulled off the waitlist at UCF
The biggest downside with UCF for me is that they start in May instead of August, but I think UCF is my top choice. It would be between them and UF if I got in, but I think UCF has the edge for me
hey! i ended up committing to northwestern in chicago. i decided i didn’t want to be in school for northeastern’s extended program length! best of luck with your decisionHey, congrats on all of your acceptances! I also got accepted to Northeastern. Do you know where you'll be attending?
