really hope I get in somewhere, especially since it's my third time applying! Can't take much more rejection!

I'm hoping that getting wait listed at GW, where I'm a first-time applicant, is a good sign for George Fox, where I'm a third-time applicant. Still waiting to hear from George Fox, and maybe I'll hear from Duke in March or April?

I hope you don't take this the wrong way as I hope you get into school this year, but all the programs that you have applied to are pretty competitive (I'm not sure about the Nebraska school though). In the event you do not get accepted this cycle, maybe you should consider applying to less competitive programs and/or more programs than just 8. Hope you get into GW though!🙂

Yes, yes! Are you taking A&P II at Hunter now? I am.

This world... it's a small one! I will try and figure out how this thing works and send my info to you. I think this warrants a face to face 🙂 Good luck on the exam Thursday!

I see people already heard from USC and Duke for a while and ongoing. It's been all quiet on TheDarkKnight14's front. I just want everything to be over with. Congrats to all those who were accepted (and with scholarships...Napoleon Dynamite luckeeee) and for those who haven't been, keep your heads up.

For those who have interviewed at NYU, has anyone heard anything back?

Last round of apps I applied to NYU and interviewed in December of 2013. I did not hear until around this time last year that I got put on the waitlist. I hope this helps!

I wanted to give a little hope to those with lower GPAs. This is my second cycle applying and I spent a year getting more observation hours, retaking a lot of prerequisites, and tried to apply to schools that only counted the highest repeat. I applied to a lot of schools, not expecting to get so many interviews and declined a few due to conflicts and already being accepted to a program I liked. I also applied to a few schools that were closer to me, but had pretty much no chance of getting in... for wishful thinking lol.

Nice job improving your app and getting in the second time around. Good example of what to do! Congratulations!

I received a letter today from Lebanon Valley College. I was waitlisted, and I immediately called and asked to be removed so another student could have my spot.

Since they don't accept more than a few applicants for the professional phase of their DPT program, I'm not sure that they have any seats to offer.

I'm just so thankful to be in a program.

I have to say that this application cycle did not turn out how I expected at all. I was accepted to schools I thought were out of reach, and was rejected where I thought an acceptance was likely. I also messed up my prerequisite timeline (early on when I first went back to school), and wasn't sure if I could overcome having so many outstanding classes when I started sending in applications. Now I just have to get through my final quarter of physics!

Did Kathy email you today? I haven't gotten anything still

Dang there must have been several people from San Jose State who interviewed. I interviewed the 20th and there were a couple people from San Jose State that day. I am thinking about it accepting the offer, but I am flying to Wash U in late March to look at their school. I am also waiting to hear back from two other schools so we'll see.

Good Luck! Wash U is great and I hope you choose the one that makes you happiest 🙂 Maybe I'll be your c/o 2017 classmate at UOP!

If I was an interviewer, and you had written this on your application, and then brought me a giant 44oz "Polar Pop" to the interview, I would have accepted you immediately with no further questions.

Wait what?! Are we thinking of the same Extracurricular? I was thinking they meant Circle K International, the college service organization that is an affiliate of Kiwanis (Adults), and Key Club (High School) and Builders Club (Middle School). Maybe I am off base but I think you are talking about Circle K the convenience store. Either way that is awesome! 🙂

I was definitely thinking of the convenience store LOL. I thought maybe it was a popular place near campus and the posters name was emblazoned on a plaque as employee of the month for 10 months straight and counting🙂

I was thinking they meant Circle K International, the college service organization...

If someone says Circle K and this is the first thing that comes to mind there is just something wrong with you... 🙄

Although Circle K is an AZ-based company so around here we have one on like ever third street corner...lol
