Grade Replacement

I took a Biology class at my community college that was 4 credit hours with the lecture and lab not being separate. I then retook the lecture at my undergrad where it was worth 4 credits and didn't have to retake the lab because the program I was applying to just counted the grade from my lecture and acknowledged I had completed the lab section. I didn't fare much better in the lecture and was wondering if I did grade replacement would I have to take a course including lab that was 4 credit hours or 5 credit hours? Any help would be appreciated
