Do osteopathic schools look at grade trends by semester or year? I am taking 15 credits total to raise my gap and is spread throughout 2 semesters (6 credits in fall, 9 credits in spring). I 4.0ed my classes in fall but will end up around a 3.2 for the spring secondary to studying for the mcat in January and two of the courses are grad levels so my first exams I did not do well in which put me in a hole.

Total would be 15 credits with an average gpa of 3.52 (all science courses)

My cGPA right now is 3.46 and sGPA is 3.31. Overall my gpa in general is increasing but not by much and the second semester is worse than the first.

Will this draw a huge red flag for schools? Upward trend is not my friend right now.

Also I'd like to add I work 20 hours a week, do research 10 hours a week. I received a 28 from my mcat in January.

Oops forgot to add. I got my bachelors last May and decided to take a year off before applying since I changed to premed from pre-PA my senior year
