As I'm mapping out the next year and half of post-bacc classes, and doing GPA calculations trying to average in semester units with quarter units, I'd like to know if there is any difference in weight of a semester vs. quarter unit in amcas?

My undergrad (180 credits) was in a quarter system, and I'm looking at roughly 46 semester units of post bacc classes, and trying to figure out what my GPA COULD be upon completion, if I can maintain perfection.

Woohoo! thanks for the link. With 46 semester units, I can raise my GPA by .25! Sweet!

For others... 20 quarter units = 13.3 sem units

so 180 = 119.7, respectively.
Actually, the way it's calculated for AMCAS is 1 quarter unit x .667, so 180 is 120.06

Got ya, and I got that as I read deeper into the grade posting/conversion description... anyway, it doesn't change much, I'm still happy.
