I have a few questions..

Do dental schools consider looking at your grades after you submit your application?

Is it true that W's are calculated as C, D, or F's?

When they view your application, they look at your GPA, but do they also look at the kind of grades you received and the classes you've taken? Or is that only when they're comparing you to other applicants?

Yes. They will ask you to submit updated transcripts after every semester

Is it true that W's are calculated as C, D, or F's?

I don't think so. C's, D's and F's have AADSAS grade values assigned to them, W's do not.

When they view your application, they look at your GPA, but do they also look at the kind of grades you received and the classes you've taken? Or is that only when they're comparing you to other applicants?

I'm not sure with regard to getting an interview. When you are interviewed I would say that this just depends on who's looking at your file. I'm sure some look at your transcript closely and some just glaze over the file.
