quick question. how devistating can 1 class be to your med school admissions. i have A's and A-'s in all the classes expect for Orgo II, which I have a C in. Obvsioly the grade is out of place. Would you advise to take it over or simply let it be. I am also a chemical engineering major so I know chemistry, i just bombed this one course. thanks for your time

No, it will not kill you. Just have a reason handy for it, because as you said.. it's going to be an anomaly and they'll probably just ask about it in passing.

ace,

just let it be. Your other grades speak for themselves, and as long as you know the material (for the MCAT, most importantly), then there is no reason for you to worry. Good luck!

Don't take it over, they are going to see that you got a C anyways. Do well on the MCAT and then you can say you know the stuff, so the C doesn't matter. One grade does not a transcript make, so keep up the good grades and it probably won't matter one bit.

i regret taking classes over

in the end, if its just one course, wont make that much of a dent on your GPA

some schools even average two grades, so you get a B, if you got a C first, and then an A

since your other sicnece grades are good
i really dont think it will be a problem
