Grades prior matriculation.

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
That was poorly worded and had horrible typos, I was in a rush. I meant do some schools require a certain GPA or give you conditional acceptances based upon your grades for the semester prior to matriculation. Something like you have to get a 3.3 or higher for the semester or retake the MCAT's and a score X to matriculate?

My only resource for thinking this is reading these forums (so this is probably all wrong and just my personal opinion, lol) but whenever I see people on here talking about conditional acceptances, its usually because they need to finish one semester of a pre-req. (and their gpa and mcat scores are pretty decent so they are highly likely to do well in that last class) I've never really seen anyone say that their acceptance is based on the GPA they get their last semester. (which I don't think would really be the deciding factor because one semester averaged with seven doesn't really make a big difference in improving your gpa) You should probably email the schools you are interested in because I bet they all have different policies for conditional acceptances. If you do email the schools, let us know what they say, I'm curious about this as well. 🙂

To my knowledge, conditional acceptances are given out for those that have not completed a necessary pre requisite, such as the MCAT or an Ochem lab. The best way to cut thru the chase on matters such as these is to just call the school that you are interested in. You will find them very helpful, and you will save yourself a-lot of headaches from forum prattle.

P.S. everything that i said was a lie.
