If I retake the classes that I have gotten C's or C+'s in and get A's on them the second time around, will the C's and C+'s be disregarded? I know that DO schools replace the grades with the more recent ones to calculate the GPA but do they still say..oh she had these C's though and still look down at it? Or are they pretty forgiving?

Thanks!

It will be replaced. However, the school will know that you retook a course and they will know the original grade because you must include it on the AACOMAS application.

so will it still count against me?

That makes me feel a lot better!
