i got a B in both intro to bio 1 and intro to bio 2 and i got all A's for my chem classes so far...
sould i retake at least one of my bio classes? because i think it will lower my chances for top med schools...or should i continue and do better in my molecular cell bio and biochemistry classes...
thanks

Don't retake it, if you get an A, they'll just average the grades out anyway. Just take upper level bio/biochem like you said.

Retaking a B would make you look worse than if you had gotten a C IMHO.

ok thanks, can you guys also give me an advice for next semester?
i will take:
organic chemistry II - 4 credits
calculus of one variable II - 4 credits
physics I (calculus based including lab) - 4 credits
intermediate spanish - 3 credits
organic chemistry problems II (tutorial class - easy A) - 1 credit

instead of the tutorial class should i take honors psychology - 3 credit ??? are those classes enough for the semester or should i also take psych... im just trying to raise my 3.59 gpa since those B's from my bio classes lowered it...

Stick with the easy A. That's a lot of science to deal with. It looks very similiar to my schedule last spring, and it was not an easy semester.

A 3.59 is not bad. No reason to risk improving it by overloading yourself. And if you are that worried, take a summer class, or even add an extra year where you can take some fun classes. Don't rush through it all.

You don't need to retake the bio classes, just try to do better than a B in some of the upper level ones, that way it shows you are improving. Great job on the chem though!
