Graphing Calc (TI-83 or higher) required?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
No, actually they are NOT allowed at our school (no programmable calculators at all).

Sweetness. I love my $20 scientific calc.

Any confirmations for UF, specifically?

My school passes out calculators with exams that require one. It's the Casio fx-260 Solar.

UF doesn't allow any programmable calculator (like graphing calculators can you can write stuff in and save). Sometimes they'd check them before exams. I never used anything other than my TI-30 (my fav calculator b/c I've used it so long).

No, there is a certain $10 plain scientific calculator they made us buy and we can only use that kind on an exam.

yeah...no good calculators allowed. get one that has the log functions and stuff like that but make sure it's not programmable.

I've seen multiple posts that speak of the math in pharmacy school. I'm just curious, what type of math is it? Basic, trig, calc?

It's not that bad at all. Pretty basic stuff.
