GRE Score

I just finished taking the GRE and scored a 148 Verbal and 158 Quantitative. I saw that some programs say "Minimum GRE score considered." Does this mean they will not accept me if my verbal is not 150? And would it be worth it to retake the GRE because of my low verbal? TIA!

I believe most programs just want a combined score of 300 but having 150 in both does help. I got into school with just about the same score as you.

I had the same but flipped and I didn't have any issues either, even with schools that say a 150 min! To be sure though you could always email them and ask.

Depends on the program. Some consider the total score (148 + 158 = 306) which would work for you if min requirement is 300. If their min requirement 150 for each, then they will toss your application. Check with the school and ask average GRE stats for accepted students. If their GRE significantly higher than yours (above 315-ish) , retake it.
