I scored a 970 on the GRE. I will be applying for AuD programs for acceptance in Fall of 2009. Should I take it again? My GPA is a 3.5 and I have 100+ audiology clinic hours/research hours. Thanks!

That probably depends on which schools you're applying to and what you did to prepare for the GRE the first time. If you were sick/someone in your family died/didn't study then taking the test again could be beneficial. If you did everything you could to prepare for the first test then it is pretty unlikely that you'll improve drastically on the second try. The rest of your stats are pretty good, so you should be fine.

how are you preparing? were both sections weaker, or is it just one that was the problem?

best of luck~

Just to add to this thread, I was wondering if there are any schools that only look at the quantitative and verbal section? For stupid reasons, I decided not to take the analytical section of the GRE (I was applying to a different program that didn't need that score). Any info would help. Thanks
