Yea so I know dental school will pretty much be hell.....but I'm takin gross anatomy right now.....wow is it involved....I can tell you one thing.....im glad i took this before dental school.....it will make it much easier when i take it again in dental school......we just did the arm and back in 4 lectures and then we will do the leg in 4 lectures after break.....this is crazy....but nonetheless very cool....

did anyone else take gross before d-school? was it beneficial?

I took gross anatomy right before starting dental school. I think it helped a lot...until we got to head and neck. Then it was like starting at square one again. There's a much heavier concentration on nerves and innervation in dental school. This stuff was kinda glossed over in the undergrad anatomy course I took. But overall, I'm glad I took it before starting d-school.

Took gross anatomy in a grad program at a medical school. The lab was taught the exact same way to us as the med students. Head and neck is probably the worst besides the abdomen/lower pelvis. Arms, back, brachial plexus, and legs are a breeze in comparison. A little tip to all going to d-school next year... get to know this site really well: it jsut may save your sanity along with your grade.
