So GW2 comes out in a few weeks. I'd like to play, and MMOs are significantly more fun with people to play with. If anyone else is planning on picking this game up, PM me with your email address and we can set up a little group/"guild". It'd be nice to play with med students and get to know some people at other schools.

Also, if anyone plays diablo 3, look me up - "pantala". Just got the game, so still in act 1!

Enjoy Diablo 3, it is an amazing experience up until the endgame. Personally I played from launch and got burned out on it within a month. There are some very promising patches coming up soon, but I think GW2 will be occupying the majority of my gaming time.

I've been doing a bit of PoE ever since I left D3. Definitely has a lot of potential, especially with the various leagues such as HC race. I'm big into PvP however so GW2 will be my time waster when it launches.

How much money do you got ? I'm sitting on around 200 gold, depending on how investments go.

WvW is a lot of fun, been doing that lately and slowly working towards Sunrise.

I actually not sure how much gold I have right now, but I think it's in the 250-ish range. It's all tied up in craftable materials since the prices of everything bottomed out.

Ranked top 20 repeatedly in the Rainbow 6 series until I stopped playing around 2005. Hardly bad, Newb. Shooters are not a challenge. Actually thinking about how to set up your character, what types fit your playstyle the best, understanding the intricacies of the game's system, and learning the lore of a game are MUCH more challenging.

BL2 is still phenomenal
but hey, way to cite a strafe'n'spray FPS to make the point about character building when knocking the RPG-esque borderlands series
