Handing in a secondary

I'm doing a summe research program at a medical school which I'll be applying to and I was wondering if it would look bad if I went and dropped off my secondary application in the Admissions office? I'll save a stamp, and I'll be assured that they received my application. Thanks

why not just drop it in the campus mail? i'd be more concerned it would be misplaced if i handed it to a secretary. what if she puts it somewhere and it never gets sorted?

Ya, I would go with the mail. I turned my undergraduate application in at the office and they lost it. I guess they could loose it either way, but probably a better chance of loosing it if you turn it in by hand.

I work at the med school I'm applying to. I went and took my secondary to them. They can see your face and if you say your name to them, it may ring a bell when they are sorting through all the applicants! I think you should take it. just MY opinion. I go see the people in the admissions office ALL the time...They know my name and my face! It's harder to reject a file when you know the person!

I personally went the extra step and hand delivered a few of mine, it definitely helped because I think "FACE TIME" means alot some places. Especially if you really want to go there and the secretary may remember you on interview day, things like this do help. I would hand it in and then follow up several weeks later to make sure things are on the rigth track. By the way, I got interviews at all three schools where I hand delivered my secondary.
